Change Your Plans and Specs Right Now!

Engineers specifying the Slant Anchor method reduce anchoring costs compared to typical embed connections.

Contractors eliminate the time-consuming embed match-up, field welding and certification steps. Panels go up faster.

Each Slant Anchor kit includes a load-rated Slant Anchor, foam Void Former, high-strength Ductile Bar and packaged Flowable Grout to complete the installation.

When the panel is ready for lifting, the Void Former is simply removed and the connection sleeve is visible and accessible for anchoring.

Once the panel is placed and braced, a hole is drilled using the sleeve as a guide. The hole is partially grouted, the Ductile Bar inserted, and the remaining grout is used to fill the sleeve for a secure connection.

Bar Support and High Chairs!

Slab Bolster is used to support rebar and mesh at the proper elevation in concrete slabs. Legs are spaced 5” on-center and spot-welded to resist bending. When a runner is spot-welded along the full length it becomes Slab Bolster Upper.

Continuous High Chair is also used to support rebar and mesh at the proper elevation in concrete slabs. Legs are spaced 7-3/4” on-center and spot-welded to resist bending. When a runner is spot-welded along the full length it becomes Continuous High Chair Upper.

Beam Bolster is used to support rebar at the proper elevation in beam form soffits. Legs are spaced 2-1/2” on-center and spot-welded to resist bending. When a runner is spot-welded along the full length it becomes Beam Bolster Upper.

Renovate and Always be Rental-Ready!

Repair worn and damaged equipment at a fraction of the cost of replacement. The SureBuilt renovation team is ready to inspect, recondition and reface your concrete forming systems to original factory specifications and appearance.

Form renovation can be performed on steel-frame, plywood-face, handset systems, including the Ellis Pro-Form, EMI Elite, Symons Steel-Ply and SureBuilt SurePly brands.

Form renovation will include the following steps:

  • Remove plywood from frames
  • Inspect and sort frames
  • Spot-weld frames (incidental, only as needed)
  • Shot-blast frames
  • Powder-coat frames (12 standard color options)
  • Install new 1/2” Birch plywood or 1/2″ HDO plywood

Form renovation does not include:

  • Inbound or outbound freight charges
  • Replacement crossmembers, end rails, handles, etc.
  • Additional welding at hourly rate

If you prefer to renovate on your own, maybe when your crew has some downtime, then be sure to ask about frame-ready, cut-to-size birch plywood and attachment rivets. Bolt Together the Brace You Need!

There’s no need to stock every possible brace size when you can simply reconfigure components using a handful of nuts and bolts.

The secret to the Modular Brace is a plate-to-plate connection with four torqued bolts (min 150 ft-lbs). This turns a selection of components into a single fixed unit.

Conventional pipe braces “telescope” to reach different lengths, but that sliding movement creates “slop” inside the sleeve and reduces capacity. That’s why you’ve had to tie up your money in a range of different sizes.

Not anymore! The plate-to-plate bolting of these patent pending modular components creates a “girder effect” that provides different sizes, while maintaining the structural integrity and load capacity. That means more brace sizes, from fewer components… and less inventory!

Now you can bolt together the brace you need, then take it apart and build something else. Start with the 40′ length, add End Connectors, and you have a 41′ Brace. Need a different size? Take off an End Connector, bolt on a 10′ length, add back the End Connector, and you now have a 51′ Brace. Need an even longer size? Add another 10′ length and have a 61′ Brace.

And Some Other Grate Stuff!

If you’re supplying concrete forms to construction sites with foundations, then why not provide the wells, ladders, grates and bucks, too?

Since egress requirements for below-grade escapes differ by region, SureBuilt can manufacture different shapes and sizes to be in compliance with local regulations. Round, square, stiff and typical arc shapes are available.

Window Wells

  • Made of heavy-duty 18-gauge USA steel
  • Corrugated for unique strength and durability
  • Galvanized on backfill side to resist corrosion
  • Good appearance, white finish on interior wall

Egress Escape Ladders

The heavy-duty design provides entry down into the well or exit from below grade living spaces. Heights include 4-Rung (48″), 5-Rung (60″), 6-Rung (72″) and 7-Rung (84″). Ladders can be painted in one of 12 color options.

Steel Grates

Stay on the safe side with Rebar Grates – made of angle iron that’s been rolled to match the well shape, and welded #3 safety bars capable of supporting over 400 lbs. Or choose the Mesh Grates to keep small debris from accumulating in the well. Grates can be painted in one of 12 color options.

Window Bucks

Window Bucks create the opening in the foundation wall. Once the concrete wall has been poured, the forms are disassembled and a window is installed in the frame created by the buck.

Check the Window Well brochure or Price List for common sizes. Become familiar with your local building codes, then contact us or request a quote.

Then You Signed Up for American-made Products!

If you or your customers qualified for a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan, then you certified that “To the extent feasible, I will purchase only American-made equipment and products.” That statement was part of the Borrower Application Form (page 2 excerpt, highlight added).

All of us, manufacturers, suppliers and contractors, should be looking for ways to put that statement into practice and support one another every chance we get.

Unlike other suppliers who routinely sell imported products, SureBuilt can help you hold up your end of the deal, and comply with that very important and very specific requirement.

Dowel Baskets After Dark!

These Dowel Baskets are part of the new Lakeland Dragstrip Commercial Park in Florida. The basket provides the load transfer and smooth slab-to-slab transition needed for this 700,000 square foot project.

The site, now under construction, takes it’s name from an old drag strip that had been located on the property.

The patent-pending plastic sleeve allows movement and the steel plate provides bearing capacity, without the risk of slab interlock and cracking, to assure a high-quality slab.

Quick product availability from SureBuilt, in the size needed, made all the difference for T&T Construction, the contractor on this fast-paced project.

SureBuilt has Dowels suitable for all kinds of ground level concrete, including floors, slabs and pavements.

We’re glad to hear our 52′ Modular Braces performed when it counted most, as an earthquake hit Utah while Frontline Concrete‘s team was on site at their latest tilt-up project.

Appreciate the mention and honest feedback!
