The ProBasket is an alternating tapered dowel assembly for efficient load transfer in concrete floor and pavement joints. It provides joint stability, reliable load transfer and smooth slab-to-slab transition.

A properly installed ProBasket minimizes joint spalling. The alternating taper-shaped steel plate allows axial and lateral movement, provides bearing capacity, and prevents slab interlock and cracking, assuring a high-quality concrete slab.

A properly installed ProBasket is designed for joints up to 0.20” wide and is suitable for all types of ground level concrete slabs, such as jointed floors, flatwork and pavement.

ProBasket and Dowel Basket can be specified to ensure that the required cross-sectional area of steel is maintained at the joint even if these baskets move slightly during the slab placement or the placement is not completely precise.

The Eco Basket is a more economical option, but requires precise placement. If the Eco Basket moves or is not exactly where it needs to be, the cross-sectional area of steel (which is critical for load transfer) will be reduced by the imprecision of the basket placement.
