Be On the Lookout for Opportunities

Here is a list of things that have been selling well the last few months. If others have been having success with these items, then maybe you should be on the lookout for sales opportunities, too.

Slab Bolster – We have all the sizes and all the finishes, including plain, tipped and dipped. We can always certify “American made” when needed.

SurePly Panels – All the standard panel sizes have been moving out the door. Look around the contractor yards to see what they might need and don’t forget we can also refurbish their forms.

Modular Braces – There is still lots of interest in these big braces for big tilt-up walls, even though some reports indicate lots of small braces are idle in the market.

Coil Rod – Savvy contractors use coil rod to solve all kinds of forming problems. They should be getting their supply from you. You might even cut them to size as an added service.

Taper Dowels – Concrete flooring contractors are using these all the time. Don’t overlook these everyday items and start having these guys call you first.

Slant Anchors – Talking about something new or unique is often a good way to get the conversation started. Some of your precast and tilt-up customers might be interested in this item.

HD Loop Ties – The typical sizes, 8″, 12″ and 18″, always seem to be at the top of the list. Make sure you always have them at your location and maybe a few in your truck.

Metal Rib – Expanded metal can be used as a “disposable form” on job sites, but only if you have some on hand. Suggest it for bulkheads, blindside walls and other applications.
