Oh Well, That’s Just Grate…

Need a Way Out?!

Do the building codes in your area require residential basements to have an escape window? If the answer is yes, then you should be supplying the contractors in your area with SureBuilt window wells and accessories.

Window Wells allow air, sunlight and access to a basement or below-grade space by acting as a barrier to the surrounding backfill. Each corrugated well is made using 18-gauge galvanized steel for durability and corrosion resistance. The top and bottom edges are formed and rolled over to eliminate sharp edges and support a person standing on a ladder or grate.

HD Egress Ladders are designed for emergency situations. The ladder can be used to escape from the basement or as an access option for emergency personnel. The hooked ends of the ladder hang over the rim, supporting the ladder inside the well. IRC code requires ladders in wells deeper than 44”. The HD Egress Ladders are available in 4’, 5’ and 6’ heights.

Grates keep people and objects from falling into the well. The grate is made of rolled angle iron steel, and welded steel safety bars. Premium mesh grates are also available to keep leaves and other debris out of the well.

Bucks are positioned and braced in the forms before the concrete is poured. Each buck has four built-in form tie slots. A basement window is installed in the opening created by the window buck.

Have a Seat… I Mean a Chair…

I Mean a High Chair!

When your customers need High Chairs, start with SureBuilt.

We have chairs that meet almost every project spec. Just give us the quantity, size and finish so we can get started on your order.

We have sizes from 1″ to 12″, in 1/2″ increments, with any fractional height in between.

We have Plain, Plastic-Dipped or Plastic-Tipped (pictured). We can also provide an optional epoxy coating or galvanized finish.

We designed the High Chair legs to span and straddle lower bars, while “cradling” upper bars at the specified elevation.

We spot-weld the chair legs to resist bending, maintaining proper concrete cover while supporting the rebar.

When Your Back is to the Wall…Go with a Weld-On Pivot Bracket!

The WeldOn Pivot Bracket makes any one-sided wall forming job easier.

The bracket can be welded to steel piles, beams or embeds at tie elevations. The pivot adjustment, angled in either direction, aligns the coil rod with the forming system. When properly installed by a certified welder, the bracket exceeds the capacity of the pivot bar and coil rod.

The WeldOn Pivot Bracket consists of a slotted bent plate and threaded pivot bar. The coil rod matching the pivot bar and forming system is sold separately.

To insure proper tie capacity, the coil rod must thread through the pivot bar a minimum of one diameter of the rod. An easy way to accomplish this is to position the coil rod tie  perpendicular to the piling, then thread it through the bracket and pivot bar until it contacts the piling.
