HGA Bracket
Load-rated device for quickly connecting tilt-up brace
shoes to helical ground anchors
The Helical Ground Anchor (HGA) Bracket provides
a simple connection point between HGAs and tilt-up
braces. The design eliminates the need to remove,
then reattach, pipe brace shoes. The pipe brace shoe
bolts directly to the bracket.
The tilt-up panel engineering, bracing and anchoring
requirements will determine which HGA Bracket is
the most effective.
Each configuration of the HGA Bracket comes with
3/4” x 3” grade 5 bolts for fastening the HGA Bracket
to the shoes and a 3/4” x 4” Grade 5 bolt and Nylon
nut for fastening the HGA Bracket to the HGA.
1-Bolt HGA Bracket configuration without and with
brace shoe. Nut is welded to bracket, bolt included.
2-Bolt HGA Bracket configuration without and with
brace shoes. Nuts are welded to bracket, bolts
included.

simultaneously for maximum allowable capacity and spacing.
Note: Helical Ground Anchor, Pipe Brace, and/or soil conditions may be the controlling factor. Capacities for all
components must be considered when engineering a bracing configuration.
Standard Transitional Brace Connector (STBC) used
to connect the brace threaded rod directly to HGA.
Ships with a 5/8”x4” Grade 8 bolt w/lock nut (Brace to
STBC) and a 3/4”x4” Grade 5 bolt w/lock nut (HGA to
STBC)
