Reinforcement

Groutec

Mechanical splicing system for horizontal and vertical precast elements. Groutec is designed to connect the precast elements either horizontally or vertically by positioning the rebar inside coupler.

Groutec can also be used to make a transition between rebar of different sizes. Please refer to our installation instructions for the list of possible combinations.

Easily connect two precast elements with no requirement for in situ wet concrete joint.

Stud Rail

Stud Rail is a double-headed stud anchor (DSA) reinforcement system, typically used for concrete deck-to-column connections. The system is designed to transfer the load further into the concrete deck, create a larger shear area around the column, and resist punching shear forces. Using the Stud Rail system can also eliminate the need for forming column capitals or drop heads. This provides significant savings, since these column details are diffi cult to form and place. Each stud is double-headed so the load transfer is equal at the top and bottom of the Stud Rail assembly. Each stud is available in diff erent sizes to match the engineered loads for each project.

Staybox

The Staybox system is prebent rebar and a formed metal box that creates a single “pull out” bar assembly. The assembly is used as a keyway and lap splice between concrete construction joints, including slab, deck, wall, beam and column intersections. The two-piece metal box is designed so the back plate remains in the concrete, while the front plate can be removed for access to the prebent rebar inside. The box itself and both ends are sealed to prevent concrete from seeping into the assembly.

Unitec

The Unitec universal rebar splicing system can be assembled onsite using a standard impact wrench. The ends of rebar require no preparation prior to installation. Unitec is ideal for concrete-embedded bars, repair and retrofi t works, bent bars, and other applications. Unitec meets ACI 318 Type 2 requirements, is ICC approved, and complies with BS 8110 and NF A35-020 Standards.

Thermal Break

The Thermal Break product combines the use of high-density foam with low conductivity concrete to break the transfer of heat to cold. This combination reduces energy demand by up to 15% without compromising structural integrity of the balcony. In conventional building construction, a concrete balcony is an extension of the inside floor. The outside slab passes cold or heat through the concrete into the interior living space resulting in energy loss and uncomfortable living conditions.

Maximum Strength Deformed GFRP Reinforcement Bar

The only integrally ribbed or deformed maximum strength GFRP reinforcement bar.

Maximum Strength Deformed GFRP Reinforcement Bar arriving to the jobsite is 1/4th the weight and CO2 footprint compared to steel, while 3 times stronger. This equates to enhanced jobsite safety and significant savings in transportation and handling costs.

Non-corrosive and non-conductive which makes it suited for any environmental exposure.

GFRP Wire Mesh

Fiber Reinforced Polymer combines high strength fibers with chemically resistant, load transferring polymers.

Applications include precast product reinforcement, shotcrete reinforcement, concrete structure rehabilitation, flatworks and slab-on-grade shrinkage control.

FRP Wire Mesh is resistant to corrosion from chlorides, retains its fl at shape when unrolled, is 1/3 the weight of steel, and twice as strong as steel.

Form Saver

Eliminate the hazards of protruding rebar and costs of form face replacement.
